General CPAP Machine Limited Manufacture Warranty
All CPAP machines come with 2 or 3-Year Limited Manufacture Warranty. Limited Manufacture Warranty protects your main machine from defects or damage as a result of materials or workmanship. This warranty does not protect on replacement parts and your main unit against daily wear and tear, water damage, negligence, accident, or improper use. Misuse, abuse or water damage will nullify the warranty period. If your machine malfunctions while under warranty, please contact us by email at email@example.com. Briefly describe the problem and provide supplementary photos and videos to better describe the issue. A clinician will complete a troubleshoot checklist with you. If the problem persists, we will work with you to access the machine's limited warranty. You are responsible to ship the unit to us at your own cost and CPAPmachines.ca will work with the manufacture for repairs/replacement and return your unit back to you. This process takes 3-6 weeks.
Respironics Voluntary Recall (June 14,2021) & How It Affects Your Philips Respironics Warranty Replacement Process
If you are not aware of Philips Respironics Medical Device Recall Notice you can click here. Under normal circumstances, our above mention process will take place. However, with the manufacture recall, this will not be the case. All warranty inquiries related to the affected DreamStation, System One and DreamStation Go machines will all have to go through this manufacture replacement process. We do not have any replacement units available at this time. We ask you to read the above link and follow step #4 and await further instructions. Unfortunately, we have no control of the recall and have to wait for Respironics to provide more information.
Resmed Limited Warranty – Ozone Damage Is Specifically Excluded (February 1, 2020)
Updates to Resmed Limited Warranty may affect whether you choose to use an ozone cleaning device (includes but not limited to Soclean & mini portable cleaners) with your Resmed machine and mask. With the increased use of ozone devices, Resmed observed that prolonged and repeated use of an ozone device may eventually cause internal damage to a Resmed machine, leading to an increase in motor noise. Resmed is reinforcing the cleaning instructions in its machine user guide: periodic cleaning with mild detergent and warm water is all that is required with a Resmed machine, component or mask.
